Privacy Policy
Last updated 6 August 2026. Receipt Warden is operated by Park Tech Systems (Australia).
This app exists to hold onto financial records, so being specific about what happens to them matters more than the usual reassurances. Below is what is collected, where it goes, and what you can do about it.
What we collect

We do not collect location, contacts, advertising identifiers or browsing activity. There is no analytics SDK and no advertising in the app, and this website loads no third-party resources, sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored with Supabase, in their ap-southeast-2 region — Sydney, Australia. If you are in Australia, your records stay onshore. Access is restricted per account at the database level, so one account cannot read another's rows, and receipt images are held in private storage reachable only through short-lived signed links.
Two things still leave the country, and it would be misleading to imply otherwise. Receipt images are sent to Google for text extraction (below), and push notifications are delivered via Expo. Everything we store sits in Sydney.

We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use your receipts to train machine-learning models.
How long it is kept
Receipts are kept for as long as you keep the record — deliberately, because a warranty can run for years and tax records need to be produceable long after the purchase. When you delete a receipt it is recoverable for 30 days, then permanently removed along with its images. Deleting your account removes your data on the same basis.
Getting your data out
Full export is available on every plan, including the free one, and always will be — in every supported format, including the original images. Your records are yours; we will not put a subscription between you and them.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. The app can do all three without contacting us, but if you would rather ask a person, email support@parktechsystems.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled a privacy matter you may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Children
Receipt Warden is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what happens to data already collected, we will say so in the app rather than quietly editing this page.
